Norty Morty’s passion for music, dance and community began when he discovered bboying in his teens. A few years later, on his first big travel to Asia his desire to DJ was birthed. Inspired by DJs such as DJ Surgeon, Will White, Deon and Koh Kayne. The journey into collecting music began. He has been playing in all sorts of environments around the world from a residency in Sri Lanka to the dusty planes of Burning Man in Black Rock City, festivals in Thailand to a Brazilian tour. His first few gigs though were in the muddy fields of England playing at Glastonbury, Boomtown, Secret Garden Party and many more. He has warmed up for DJ’s such as Fat Boy Slim, Dusky and Marten Horger. With tunes covering many different genres his style is Techy, Bassy, Groovy and Psychedelic with a sprinkling of fun on top.
